We were so blessed to have met with leaders and representatives from over 20 NABF member bodies at our first NABF Leadership Gathering & Retreat, hosted in Nashville this past October 16-18th.
Our time together was full and meaningful. On our first evening together, we were hosted by the Zomi Baptist Churches of America at Agape Mission Church for a delicious meal, and a time of meaningful worship including song, cultural dance, and some meaningful words from the Zomi and NABF leadership.
Many thanks to NABF Executive Member, ZBCA pastor and General Secretary Rev Pau Khan Lian, and ZBCA President Pau Khan Khai, and to the leaders from Zomi churches across the country joined us in Nashville. We are grateful for our brothers and sisters of Christ in the Zomi church!
Video this time together can be found here: NABF Leaders Retreat at ZBCA (Facebook Live), and more fantastic photos of our time there can be found here: NABF Leaders Retreat at ZBCA (Facebook Photos).
The remainder of our time together offered times of shared meals, rest, fellowship and relationship building, as well as working sessions focused on clarifying and planning for the mission of the NABF. This was an incredibly productive time together. The Spirit of God was clearly at work, and significant progress was made in clarifying the purpose and mission of the NABF, and our role within our Baptist family and God’s greater mission.
