Young Prophetic Voices
A Collaborative Movement for Faith and Justice
Young Prophetic Voices (YPV) is a cohort-based formation experience of the North American Baptist Fellowship (NABF) that equips teenagers to integrate faith, advocacy, and community service in real, practical ways. Rooted in Scripture and the prophetic tradition, YPV helps youth discover and strengthen their unique voice, develop a lens of justice, and learn how to speak truth and embody hope within their churches, schools, and neighborhoods.
“Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak, I am too young.”
But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:6–8)
Who YPV Is For?
YPV is designed for youth groups and youth leaders serving teens ages 13–18 across the U.S. and Canada. The cohort is intentionally built to reflect the blessed diversity of the Body of Christ across cultures, communities, and congregations. Participating churches join as a team, typically a youth pastor or youth leader alongside 3–5 teen leaders, to ensure strong pastoral support, safe discipleship, and meaningful local follow-through. Youth and leaders learn together through a retreat and ongoing virtual sessions that connect theology to advocacy and justice-centered action through coaching, shared projects, and practical tools.
2026 Cohort Registration
Registration for the next YPV cohort will open on February 28 and close on April 30. You are invited to register your youth ministry team if you are ready to grow in Christ-centered leadership, strengthen your youth discipleship, and engage your community with faith-rooted courage and care. Spaces are limited, so plan to submit your registration within the window to be considered.
Your voice matters. Your faith matters. Your leadership matters. This is your moment.
