Welcome 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the NABF. Please read on for how to become a member, including member expectations and suggested giving levels. 

Membership in the NABF is open to any Baptist denominational body, organization, or individual in the United States or Canada.

Through collaborative efforts, the North American Baptist Fellowship (NABF)  seeks to strengthen the witness and work of Baptists in the United States & Canada, both regionally and globally, while fostering a spirit of mutual support and engagement among its members. As a regional body of the Baptist World Alliance (BWA), the NABF is committed to furthering the aims and objectives of the BWA, ensuring that these are effectively implemented to impact the life of Baptists across North America. Please note that a reference from NABF is also part of the BWA application process.

Member Expectations

By becoming a member of the NABF, Baptist organizations and individuals commit to the following:

  1. Promote Fellowship and Cooperation: Actively engage in promoting fellowship and cooperation among Baptists throughout North America, fostering peace, unity, and collaboration within the Baptist community.
  2. Engage in NABF Networks and Strengthen Baptist Work in North America: Actively participate in NABF networks and contribute to the collective efforts that align with your interests and ministry focus, while seeking to strengthen Baptist influence across North America.
  3. Support NABF (and BWA): Encourage and support the work and initiatives of the NABF, contributing to its mission of strengthening the Baptist witness and fostering collaboration across The United States and Canada. Additionally, members are encouraged to uphold and support the broader mission of the Baptist World Alliance, aligning with its global efforts to advance the cause of Christ and Baptist witness worldwide.
  4. Attend Annual Gatherings: Make it a priority to attend the annual gatherings of the NABF, where members come together for worship, learning, and strategic planning.
  5. Provide Financial Support: Contribute an annual financial gift to support the ongoing work of the NABF, ensuring that the NABF can continue to serve and support its members effectively.

Suggested Annual Contribution

Individuals: $99 / year

The NABF Executive Committee has set forth suggested giving levels for member bodies based on their size. We hope that these giving levels are helpful, and ask that member bodies give with a spirit of generosity as you make your annual contribution.

*Individuals and groups are welcome to consider a contribution greater than what is listed, with the option to give in monthly instalments, if preferred.
